When my love for you was blind
But I couldn't make you see it
The very tension in the air in the dining hall last night made me nearly drop my drink all over the floor. I do hope that all of this will be settled soon and I do mean more than just simply war affairs. I could sense my brother shifting again and again near me while father shuffled his food.

I listened in to the conversations my father had with one of the soldiers. It looks like nothing is going to change as of now. My hand maids told me I’m too young to worry about it but how can I not?

I wish I could fight.

The maids told me today that the snow is melting in the courtyard. I’m not very sure if I should be happy or sad about this. The snow falling is very silent and at most times I must wait for it to tickle my face to know it is actually there. But with rain I can hear it and I am aware of the showers and how alive it will make things.

It has been raining a lot lately.

Spring is really around the corner and I couldn’t be more happy about seeing it come. With it I hope to hear of new stories and of good times…

However bleak those dreams might seem sometimes. Everyone has been so worried about the war. I always hear the court chatting about this and that. I’m not at all confused by what they say-- more I feel wary of it all. I just want my family back at home with me.

The castle has been in such a huge uproar lately with everyone running around and shouting out orders about the war. I nearly got knocked to the ground this morning when some soldiers haphazardly ran past me and pushed me to the side. Luckily I managed to grab onto something that I thought to be the ledge of a window before I hit the ground.

With as little as a huff of acknowledgement they ran off. Their clinking armour hurt my ears.

I’m going to spend my day in the courtyard.
